Emma Rae got very ill with a temperature of nearly 104, sore throat, and her stomach hurt.  It was extremely scary and I was a basket case.  We paid for a medical doctor to come to our hotel room two nights ago to give her medicine through IV. She is doing much better today and is excited to fly to Guangzhou tonight to see her new friends she met in Beijing.  Everyone from the adoption group in meeting back there now that everyone has their children.  That is where the US Consulate is and where Remi will have her medical exam, get her Visa, and we'll have an adoption ceremony.

Remi is doing awesome and seems to be competely with us now.  Full eye contact with us now.  The first 2 days, she wasn't doing that a lot.  She loves any food you put in her mouth(congee, eggs, rice, bread, yogurt, teething rusks, sweet potatoe puffs, pumpkin, etc.). She likes to suck on a blanket when she is tired.  That sounds that someone I know!! 

We are going to the Bird and Flower Market today.
